ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The objective of the seminar is to provide a forum for active researchers, professional and academicians from diversified domains and with diversified backgrounds to share the latest research achievement on the History & Culture of Haryana. Haryana is a wonderland with vibrant and rich cultural heritage that gives visitors the feel of the Vedic period. Haryana is also known as “The Home of Gods“,as Hari means god (Vishnu) and Ayana means home. This vibrant state has a bountiful culture, heritage, festivals, folklores and a vibrant landscape. Submerged in the rich cultural heritage of the Vedic Period, the mystical state of Haryana stands out from the crowd. Characterised by the hookahs and the charpoys, the vivid fairs and the swaying paddy. Haryana’s contribution to the main stream of Indian history and culturehas been remarkable. Arendezvous of various people, it was here that they came,got mingled and contributed towards making of Indian culture. The National Seminar will feature keynote presentations by prominent researchers in the field in addition to peer reviewed paper sessions and panel discussion. Presence of senior academicians and practitioners will be a guiding path to the young researchers, whereas the face to face meeting will lead to fruitful connections and collaborations.
