Employment Support Centre (ESC):
Introduction
This center is developed under the umbrella concept of Aatmnirbhar Bharat which translates to self-reliant India. It aims at the placement of the students and to promote the self-employment by incorporating skills among the student. It is a needed hub initiating and managing the campaign for nationwide mass-awakening for the change of mindset of the youth towards entrepreneurship and encouraging and supporting the local level initiatives towards self-employment and thus acts as the catalyst for attaining the mission of Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan.
With help of coordination of the initiatives of economic, social and educational organizations it could enable us create an employment centric economy. India’s employment generation strategy stands on four lines of decentralization, focus on local & swadeshi products, skill & entrepreneurship development and cooperation.
Vision : To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic enhancement of economic contribution via skill & employability to make the youth self- reliant.

Aims of Employment Support Centre/Rozgar Srijan Kendra
The Center aims at enabling students discover their interest, skills & aptitude and also in developing support system for students from local MSME’s., training them for their employable skills. The centre involves the students in conducting surveys to identify the employment avenues. It includes training and placement cell as well as the University Industry cell that provides career counselling to students& prepare them for placements into Industryby enhancing their soft skills to face interviews.
It also takes care of making MoUs with leading institutions in context to training of students and identifying the short term and skill-based programmessuch as(Tour and travel, Digital marketing, Autocad, Coral draw, Photoshop, webdesigningetc). A few of innovative initiatives of the ETC are:
- Skill Mapping of the skills and interests of the students and the desired skills & qualities by the industries
- CBLU E-Mart that could provide a platform for promotion of the products of MSMEs, students, home-made products or services etc Link to CBLU-Emart:

- Earn While Learn scheme to imbibe the habit of earning with the efforts at early age and would give exposure of different types of works
- Swavalambi Yuva interaction session series on weekly bases to provide a platform to the youth to free float their ideas and discuss upon its implementation.
- Recognizing & promoting women entrepreneursof the local area and self-employment among students
- Organizing business idea competitions and framing of the success stories of the Entrepreneurs In local areas.
Benefits in Resulted:
- Skill Development of the students in terms of ICT skills, Communication skills, Content writing skills, Tally / CAS, App development, Selling/Marketing Skills, Presentation skills
- A number of small scale business ideas were generated that involved very low investment. Such as cotton buds manufacturing, handmade chocolates, jute bag business, herbal soap, envelop making, paper bag making, best out of waste manufacturing etc
The students design their own pamphlets and have started social media marketing and many availed the business opportunities for them.
