CBLU Seal

logo cblu

The insignia of a university is a graphic representation of its vision, its approach and its aim. The insignia of CBLU was decided upon from more than 40 entries invited through open tender published in the leading dailies and uploaded on the University website. It was approved by the Executive Council in its first meeting vide resolution No. 16 dated 07.02.2015. Then It was subsequently unveiled by His Excellency Governor-Chancellor—Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki on the occasion of the 1st Science Conclave on 18th January, 2015.

Motto

The motto of the insignia of the University is to inspire youth with healthy minds and bodies to have knowledge in order to perpetuate the human life in an order that is established by intellectual development and enhanced sensibility with concern for all. It is explicitly symbolic of the objective of the university which is:
“to establish and incorporate a teaching-cum-affiliating University to facilitate higher education in multi disciplines with special emphasis on sports and physical education and to achieve excellence in these and connected fields”.

Yogi

The emblem has the picture of a yogi on the top. It is symbolic of synergy to have good physical and mental health.

Foliage

Coming from top to bottom, there is foliage which is indicative of aesthetic and intellectual growth of the young minds with due consideration for ecological balance.

DNA

The DNA on both sides of the emblem represents perpetuity and potential of human race; these are beyond doubt, boundless and inexhaustible.

Wheat Spikes

The spikes of the golden wheat grains which are suggestive of prosperity and nutrition are also indicative of the life-cycle of the prosperous state of Haryana.

Flame

The flame at the centre of the logo is the flame of knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment—the ultimate goal of every living being and the guiding principle of our university. It suggests the end of all darkness that has pervaded in the form of ignorance, superstition and narrow vision.

Inscription

Lastly, we have the inscription on the insignia—Vidya Gurunam Guru, that has been taken from the Hitopdesha, an embodiment of ancient Indian wisdom imparted by the great Guru Vishnu Sharma to his princely disciples. It underlines the significance of education and wisdom in human life which can come only through great teachers or Gurus thus signifying the importance of Vidya—the knowledge, and the Guru—the teacher who is instrumental in imparting this knowledge.
