The Department of Political Science offers is a 2-year post-graduate course which aims at providing knowledge of national and international political systems. The duration for M.A. program in Political Science is 2 years and each year is generally divided in two semesters. This course is open for students with a Bachelor’s degree in any stream. It is an interdisciplinary course which focuses on various aspects of Political Science such as polity, political doctrines and ideologies, International Relations, Constitutions, International Law, Governing Bodies, political philosophy etc.

After completion of the program, M.A. Political Science degree holders can find employment in both public and private sectors in fields such as Public Administrator, Educator, Researcher, Journalist, and Political Advisor & Analyst.

Eligiblity Bachelor Degree in any discipline with not less than 45% marks in aggregate
(42.75 % in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/ Differently Abled etc. candidates).
